600-800 milligrams of ibuprofen will work for me, if anything is going to. Sometimes with a migraine, it just has to "wear out". And the effective medication seems to be very individual--the same thing doesn't work for everyone. Sometimes pressure on the worst pain spot, or a cold wet washcloth, and lying down seem to help.

Take 2 Tylenol (or generic) and 2 Ibuprophen at the same time. They are 2 different medications and will get rid of the headache.

The best way to take care of a headache using alternative methods is to drink a glass of water. It works.

Excedrin Mygraines- then lay down in a dark room for about 30-40 minutes

take 2 midols and a caffenine pill! It gets rid of your headache in 5 mins! It works for me. good luck

the fastest Ive ever used is the Tylenol instant release, the relief isn't exactly instant but its alot faster than most, just make sure you drink a full glass of water so that they dont release in your throat!
