Do something based on something you enjoy. I really can't tell you an "easy" one, since I really don't know you that well. A soup kitchen might be great for a homemaking, social personality, but would be hell for an antisocial personality.

Well There are many places you could help out.
If your school hasn't led out yet, you could help out a teacher. I personally help out teachers a lot and one of my friends just recently got community service points for church for helping a teacher out. You could also mow lawns for free (find small yards) Also some stuff that really fun is you could work at a summer camp, like a theater camp or just a church group. You could also try helping out at YMCA. There's also things to do like help elderly neighbors who can't function themselves, you could make meals for them and deliver them.
If all else fails be a trash picker on the side of the road! LOL JK

Goodwill Industrys or Salvation Army, the local
homeless soup kitchen.

one of the places I would recoommend (among hundreds of others) is a bookstore... I am talking about reading books to kids. I brought my kids to a book store once and the girl reading the book, could barely read. I am not sure if she even spoke English. I, along with all the parents there, was about to die... I volunteered to do this and it was soooo awesome!!!! Incredibly rewarding if you like to read and catch the attention of the "little ones". Help our kids read!

Try a nursing home to do your community service in or at a local YMCA or Boys and Girls Club.

There are nursing homes, most town have their version of a 'Soup Kitchen' or etc, there is the 'Big Sister' 'Big Brother' program. All of these I perticipate in and they are relitively easy and most of the time fun.
