Dreft is the best. It's really gental and smells nice. It's good for newborn up to 18 months.

You can always use Dreft but there's one called All for babies and it's cheaper. I have a 8 month old daughter and I started out using Dreft then switched over to All and I have found out that it works out just as good. I hope that this helps you out. Congrats on the baby and enjoy him while his young because before you know it he'll be all over the place. Good luck and I hope the everything goes good at delivery.

as fragrance and chemical free as possible. Most of the stuff at regular stores is toxic. Your doc might not tell you this. Maybe go online and check out sites that sell anything earth/human friendly soaps? I have 4 children, I know how sensitive a babies skin is...

I used the "All" detergent brand for babies. Although I have used Dreft, I prefer the All. It smells good and works good on stains.

Dreft has fabric softener and fragrance - these really irritated my daughter. I used All fragrance free, but if I could afford it, I would use Shaklee - it is very gentle and twice as effective as anything else.
