My friend and I both make saop and lotion to sell and make money. Several times I have found her promoting her business to MY friends and family at MY church, and even going to their homes when I am not there. We were supposed to become partners, but she just keeps doing this, selling to people I have known for 7+ yrs and promising to make them things they are asking for. She has only known them for five months. I feel like she is using me, but I cannot prove it, and I don't want to make too much fuss, and look like a fool. (You know, "you doth protest too much!") How can I promote my business better and persuade them not to buy from her?

She's not doing anything technically wrong, just hurtful. You could tell her you feel weird abt her trying to sell her stuff to your friends and family (if she goes to the same church, those people are fair game), and see what she says. Maybe she hadn't thought abt it being hurtful to you. If she doesn't care, ask your family to buy from you. Ask your friends what you can do to change the product so they will buy it.
