can someone tell me how to put color on top of my black and white photos? i have seen it done and i LOVE the way it turns out!
i have corel paint shop pro x and jasc paintshop pro 8

help please?

I use photoshop, you can open your black and white picture and change the mode to RGB add a solid color layer play with the fill and opacity with your color of choice, I don't know if this is what your writing about. There should be something similar in your software

If you want to avoid paying some 700$ for Photoshop and all the tedious work of hand colorizing b/w photos you should try a very nice tool.

They have a lot of demo images and a 21-Day Trial version for download. If you like it... you can buy it for 29$.

If you decide that Photoshop is the best approach then try a google search for 'photoshop colorize b/w pictures tutorial' and start learning.

when u put your color on top, use multiple and ajust the amout yrself
