My partner and I are trying for a baby and have got the information on what vitamins and stuff we need to take to increase our chances. The only thing is that the doses of the tablets we have are higher than the recommended amount for trying to conceive. Will taking a higher dose than recommended decrease our chances of having a baby?

Actually, just bd every other day and you will hit the right time eventually. You could even chart your basal temps if you're that serious about it. I was five years ago. It's a HARD road ttc. Believe me...try not to obsess and don't get too hyped up on vitamins and other things "helping" the conceiving process. It's hard not to, but I've seen people (myself included..) get so obsessed ttc that it actually hinders conception. When I finally got SO fed up with everything and stopped doing all the "helps" (elevating hips after, waiting for ewcm, charting basal temps, OPKs, etc) to conceive, we did conceive. GL!
