What other event stops wars and brings peace to nations like the FIFA World Cup? None. The FIFA World Cup is the greatest international sporting event.
I would say the Olympics are second, followed by the World Cup of Hockey and the World Baseball Classic.

Without a doubt, hell yeah....
Name one sporting even bigger than World Cup...
Nothing....
Superbowl? Olympic? World Series?
Comebine them all and you still can't equal the amount of fan and interest of World Cup.
Superbowl and World Series is American event and only big here. Americans tend to have an illusion that these 2 events are big. But it's a drop in a bucket compared to global interest for World Cup. It make Olympics wimpy in comparison.

Yes. The reason is because it has the most viewers compared to events like the superbowl/ the world series/ the nba finals. I heard that an average world cup match raises more profit/revenue than a superbowl.

Yes. Soccer is the most popular word-wide sport. It's more popular than baseball becuase baseball is only popular is America and Central America.
Though it is the only single sporting event, but the Olympics is the greatest.

Yes, it is. It has 80% of the world population watching its final game. No other event can claim the same. Olympics is far behind. And only Americans would think football or baseball are bigger (Americans are so unworldly, you know)
