Nothing new has been installed so was wondering if anyone knew what part needs replaced. Sometimes if i hit the blinker switch enough they come back on, till its time to turn or i go over a bump, then they are back off again.

Check for any burned out fuses...I'm sure your local auto parts store will help you. But from the sound of it you may have loose wire connections, which may prove to be more costly. Still, maybe the fuse is loose...good luck.

Sounds like you have short or bad connection in the wiring, have a quality machanic look at it.

It does indeed sound as though you have a loose connection of some sort. God bless your mechanic in finding it. :o)
