This probably sounds so corny....but this is what it's all about:
My boyfriend is in his easy chair, feet on the ottoman- either playing his bass guitar or watching a movie with me. The Schnauzer is asleep on his right side. I am sitting in my recliner-
either cross-stitching or watching a movie with him. The Boston
Terrior is sleeping either on my lap or at the foot end of the chair.
It's late evening...a little before bedtime and it's so peaceful, the
house is filled with love and the dog's are lightly snoring-and we
look across the end table inbetween our chairs and just smile
at each other....smiles full of love. A variation of this occurs each
night almost, and that is what makes it all worthwhile, and makes me happy.

My three-year old granddaughter. She is the most perfect creature I've ever known. I spend as much time as possible with her. I have to "share" her with her parents, her grandmother, her other grandparents, and three aunts. She's very diplomatic about it, and makes each of us feel very important to associate with her.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to talk about her. That's the next best thing to being with her!
