With so many well paid actresses, it's hard to say which one is THE most well paid.
But Julia Roberts is a very good actress, as well as very pretty.

Because just about all her movies have made big bucks!! And because most people like her as a person and as an actress. She is a very real person and I believe the characters that she plays are real too. That's what makes her worth seeing at the movies. The movie company makes money and in turn she does too.

Because the movie going public see's her as a 'real' person versus a fabricated image. Thus movies she agrees to appear in tend to do VERY well at the box office in turn allowing her Agent to command top dollar from the studio or production company producing the film(s).
