That was a great one. I remember one where it was either Al Wilson or John Mobley hit Ricky Williams. I pretty sure it was a Monday night game here in Denver. I think we were wearing our alt. orange jerseys.

You beat me to it! When Atwater knocked Christian Okoye backward and on his backside then stood over him. "Nigerian Nightmare"? I don't think so. And Atwater was wearing a mic that night so there is great sound to go with the clip. Awesome!!

Damn. You beat me to the Bo Jackson/Brian Bosworth faceoff. Bo Jackson just practically asswhipped the arrogant Bosworth into the endzone. I don't think that man's career ever recovered. He's probably a bouncer at some sad country western dive in the Midwest, pulling out all the clippings from his wallet in a pathetic attempt to impress girls.

In short, it wasn't just a hit on the football field. It was a hit on a man's career.

I have to go WAAAAAY back to a Mid 70's game, Ken Burrough was the only guy between a runner with a full head of steam and the goal line, hit him...stood him up straight and stopped him inches short to end the game...OR Bo Jackson and Bosworth....DAYUM....they cracked each other...Boz went down...Bo stayed up and scored. Of course the GREATEST hit of all time for me ( not sure if it was on MNF though ) was Earl Campbell & Jack Tatum...Campbell swept left on the dead run around the 3yd. line...Tatum came up to force..both lowered their heads like a couple of Rams, helmets popped Tatum stumbles about 5 yds back....Campbell stumbles about 5 yds. back....Tatum falls on his butt...Campbell regains his balance and takes it to the house.

Easy.

Bo Jackson knocking the incredibly overrated Brian Bosworth into next week and scoring a touchdown while doing it.
