i think magazines draw inspiration for trends from celebrities and then sell these trends and fashions in the magazines. I think that that's how trends are formed. everyone wants to be and look like the beautiful people, and when people think they'll look more like that hot starlet, they jump at the opportunity, thinking it'll make them look more like a hollywood star

There are several ways that fashion begins. One you can have a trickle down effect, where people at the top like designers and celebrities, start a new trend and the rest of us gradually pick up on it. Second, is bottom- up effect, this is where we, the consumers, dress in a certain way and designers copy our look. I hope this helps!

Seriously the people out of the major areas NY, Spain, Italy, France, UK. the well known designers usually play a part in fashion. My favorite is Channel.

it's whomever is doing the buying. in most cases right now it's girls ages 13-19
