Or do you feel like a cow? I feel great and pretty and all that good stuff. But my friend told me the other day that no one wants to hear about how good I feel. It hurt my feelings to no end and now I feel like I can't share anything w/ anyone. I wonder if anyone else is catching hell for feelin' good or do you just complain about every little thing while everyone listens?

Are you kidding? Sex is WONDERFUL with a pregnant woman. It is better for her too, more lubricated more hormones more orgasms!

SCREW your friend if they can even call themselves a friend. If you feel great, LET EVERYONE KNOW. You are having a baby and have every right to brag all you want.
I was exactly like you during my first pregnancy. I felt great and didn't care about how much weight I was gaining. I was just enjoying the pampering and the new experience. Now I am pregnant again and I am COMPLETELY opposite of that. I think part of the reason is that I started showing the day of conception (ok, that might be an exaggeration, but it felt like that soon). SOOOO I have had this hard, big belly for months now and still have 2 to go. I am alot more aware of how hard it is to get the weight off after the baby is born, so I am conscientiously trying NOT to gain as much, but it isn't working, so that frustrates me.
I enjoyed the first time so much better, so I think that I am going to have to get my self back into that mindset and start enjoying what little time I have left (since this is our last one).

I think your friend must be having some sort of problem to say something like that. Either that, or that person is not your friend to begin with. Maybe you could ask if they are having a problem and need to talk about it, sometimes when people are down they lash out like that. People who talk about feeling good can spread their good mood to other people, but people who complain about everything or are always in a bad mood do the same thing, (that's what your friend did to you.) Spreading gloom is much more likely to end up in not having friends than spreading happiness.
Don't let it cause you to not share with others. If you are feeling good about yourself and your pregnancy, then that is a wonderful thing!

Everyone DOES want to hear how happy you are. They at least want to know that you are doing well, not badly. They sure the hell don't want to hear you depressed or whining. Your friend should have thought a little more about what she was saying.
This is a very happy time for you. You should be shouting it from the mountains. But do be sensitive to others who have had different experiences in pregnancy. It can't hurt to be diplomatic (unlike your friend!) I'll tell you that anyone who is pregnant and wary wants to hear that it's not all bad!

what is there that your friend tells you no one wants to know how good you feel? it must be exciting to get pregnany asides the pain you feel when the baby's born. women really do get pregnant even when their man had seducted a cat then got a baby after, I have a cousin who had sexual relation with a cat in the year 2000, then after seducing a cat he got a girl pregnant and then all of a sudden I heard the same cousin also seducted a dog khkh, then now I hear that he's also getting another baby and yet without any shame of what it all happened in his life.
Have fun getting pregnant and share your child with the father. Tell yourself that your boyfriend have not done the same as my cousin, and tell your friend that you were not the ones sexually related with any animal.

my husband has always said that i am most beautiful to him when i am pregnant. i do feel a little bit better about myself when i''m pregnant, but not usually until i hit about 24 weeks and i have that nice round baby belly. i think it's great that you are feeling good about yourself at this time, especially at 31 weeks because that's usually when the boredom with pregnancy starts to set in. i also think it was a little hurtful of your friend to say that to you. everyone always hears about pregnant women being nauseated, bloated and having horrible heartburn and such, so why wouldn't they like to hear something positive from an expecting mom?

I think it's great that you feel good and pretty. Your friend obviously has some issues if she's not encouraging your happiness!
I wish I had some of your confidence. I'm 31 weeks, and I'm getting to the point where I just want my baby and I want my body back!

you are soo lucky that you feel pretty and sexy while being pregnant...at first i felt that way...and now that im 6 months...i feel like a freaken cow...i waddle...i pee every 30 mins...i have a hard time gettin in and out of bed...i cant see my feet...im super jealous!!...you are soo lucky!!...girl dont listen to people who tell u not to share stuff w/anyone...if you feel sexy...tell everyone!!!! (im not one of the complainers....im actually happy being pregnant...i just feel like a cute cow :) or a very large penguin lol) congrats on the baby

Well, I felt pretty good in the first months of my pregnancy, but the last couple of months were pretty hard. But I think it's great that you feel good about yourself. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. It will be over before you know it, so try to enjoy it!

That's not a very nice friend. She's jsut jealous maybe...that she feels all crappy. Pregnancy was my most joyful time. i feel the best about my body and I can wear anything tight fitting becuase my stomach is naturally huge. You can also eat whatever and people can't say a thing. Bask in this time with your little one inside...it's priceless.

Gurl do you no how many of my friends hated me when i was pregnant, jus because i couldnt stop talkin about how pretty i was and how pretty my stomach was trust me if you think you pretty in every way possible than you are yo friend just haten you go gurl
