The Rainbow's Edge
At the end of every rainbow
There is a pot of gold
It is worth more every time it is sold
The color's fade and go away
Making room for a sunny day
Making room to laugh and share

it doesn't take much to be a poet. anything's art. you can go to a site and get stuff published yourself these days. nothing even has to be accepted. just pay a fee and you get your own book. poof.

I am a person who writes randomly,
I write down and sit under a tree,
I think of lame yet funny stuff,
But to me poetry is hard and rough,
I have to practive day and night,
i have to be precise and right,
i can't not have dark, i need light,
To extent myself to a height.

I have been writing poetry since I was 8 years old. I have several on poetry.com and I still write when the mood hits me or someone asks me to write one.
