I heard that for eye make up, you were supposed to where eye shadow that was the opposite of your eye color. I heard plum was the opposite of green(?), so i was wondering what was the opposite of brown. and LOL mitchelanneous =)

The opposite of brown is blue.
Blue is the recognised "complementary" color for brown, opposite to it on the "color wheel". Complementary colors make good contrasts with eachother.
The theory is helpful for interior decorating and for dressing well, and simply stated it posits that color schemes should either use analogous colors (colors which are close to eachother) like green with yellow, or red with orange; or else you should use complementary colors (colors which are opposite to eachother), such as green with red, or brown with blue. The exact shade of the colors is important.

There wouldn't be an opposite. There would be a complimentary color. Remember back to when you were in grade school and you had the color wheel, the color opposite one color was its complimentary color. And for Brown, I'd have to say the complimentary color would be orange.

on the color spectrum it would be something like black -
brown is all primary colors mixed together therefore LACK of color would be it's opposite

well if you are talking about the bodily orafices, it woudl have to be pink.
if you talking heaven and earth, then it would have to be blue.
if oyu are a dr.suess fan it would have to be up ( brown is down, pup is up _)
if you paint it wold have to be white ( since brown is a combination of all the colors )
if your dyslexic, it would be NWORB

Maybe Yellow. It's a light & bright color. Brown is dark & dull.
