I tryed to uninstall some programs but when i try it just doesn't do anything when i hit uninstal. ??? I have Windows xp. and the cpu has been slow lately. Like when you click on something it slows right down. ?????

you probably have spywar, adware and viruses on it, you need to clean it out.
get spybot, adaware, ewido, and avg antivirus, and clean everything out that isn't supposed to be there

You might have deleted the folder first n then tried to uninstall. So it would not completely uninstall the files n obviously it's slow down the computer. There is a software available called "Registry cleaner". You can get this software from your computer manufacturer or vendor. Execute this n it will delete the unwanted files. Also try runnig the defragmentation file in the controll pannel

Go to your control panel and remove the programs with your Add/Remove Programs opition rather than doing an uninstall.

hey i think u have something seriously wrong wit u pc u must consider to temove all dangerous stuff like virus etc or just re-nstall ur pc
xp reduce all graphics upgrade ur ram and best re-instal and do the same

ddo yourself afavor and wipe the entire drive and start over again i know this is a drag but unless u have program restore options then this is what u will end up doing...

follow what butchell suggested. i would also suggest defraging the hard drive and getting a copy of windows defender as well
