I'm an Eragon fan, I read the books, I want to see the movie but I liked the books better because I was able to imagine everything as I wanted, I didn't have a particular image in my mind, it was just discovering a beautiful new world. I love dragons and Saphira is my favorite, I would like to have a dragon to keep me company and it would be absolutely fantastic if I could use my mind to talk to animals. I like Eragon and Arya, they seem perfect one for another.
I don't really like the characters in the movie, everything seems fake, it doesn't have that kind of magic that the books have. Maybe is just my opinion but I like to dream while I'm reading a book so I'm usualy disappointed when I see the movie.
I'm a part of the Eragon groups here on Yahoo so I hear all the news in a heart bit, I like to know everything about my favorite young author Christopher Paolini and I hope the next book will as good as the others.
What else can I say? I suppose you read the books so you should live the fantasy and forget about the rest, just spend a few minutes in the world of magic.

I got into the series recently after picking Eragon up from my library and I like it so far. It's very interesting and Lord of the Rings-ish. The next book is going to be a bit of a way away from me since I have to finish Eragon and Eldest first. When does book 3 come out?
The movie looks interesting. Is it based on book one or books one and two?
I haven't heard anything about the video game, though. Sounds fun.

Because if you mean the book by Christopher Paloni, I love it so much!
I have read Eragon 12 times and Eldest 4

I've read Eragon, and i thought it was rather good. i'm kinda excited for the movie. i didn;t know about future video games, but i could only assume with the movie coming out in december that it would only be a matter of time. I bought Eldest the day it came out, and I have yet to read it though. I have to get on that.

haha sadly enough i got into that series. i loved both eragon and eldest and cant wait for the last book to come out :) im not really excited for the movie, im afraid it wont match my imagination and sort of ruin my perspective of the characters like with the harry potter books and movies.. but yeah i think Paolini is an excellent author and i hope he has more in the future.
