Well, honestly, as an American, my heart says I want to play American Football, but then my glory would only be here. I played football for six years through high school and I loved it, but if I played futbol (soccer), then I could be known all over the world. How many people in India know who Walter Payton was? Maybe 6 or 7, but I can be pretty sure a few million or more know of David Beckham. Basketball would come in second because there is some worldwide recognition and, sadly, american football last. I would rather be world renouned than simply famous in my own country.

American Football star

Soccer. They have longer careers & are famous around the world, not just in the U.S. And all the glory of the 20-40 points per game in football, or 80-120 points per game in basketball, is all wrapped up in one goal. I don't think there's anything quite like that.

American football is my favorite sport, but the toll that sport takes on the body can take years off a player's life & cause long-term pain and/or disability.

Basketball players have guaranteed contracts going for them, but can get stuck on bad teams for a long time or get traded all over the place. And basketball is a sport where one player can make or break a team, and consequently if you're not the #1 star player on a team, you can get forgotten quickly.

American Football...I cannot imagine the glory of winning the Super Bowl. Just playing in front of that many people has to be awesome.

No doubt an NFL star. You don't have to worry about international problems. No Olympic team (no pressure to represent USA, and time off). The sport is at a climax. It would make my kids very proud of me. And the dynamics of football (the game itself) is by far more physical, mental and emotional which makes winning as well as being a star all the more sweeter.

I would rather be a soccer player. The world loves soccer and it is becoming more and more popular in the United States. I would like to be involved in a sport that is growing where U.S. has much room to improve rather than a sport where we always dominate. Plus, soccer is just cool. (Not that I can even juggle or head a ball)

Soccer matters to people. I love American football, but it's easy to see that soccer fans love their sport more than anyone here loves football.

Soccer star. I play soccer, it's the coolest, and I'm not as good at either Football or Basketball as I am at Soccer.

Football Star - To play in the Superbowl and to win the MVP for the superbowl. Then start a youth program for kids and give them all a chance to attend a superbowl game.
