i'm building a street rod out of my 46' coupe and want a new frame (pontiac big block bent the stock one) but dont think i need to go all out on a performance chassis. i was hoping i could find a frame that would it would fit on, but no one has info on the 46' fords.

Weld the camaro or any GM Nova, firebird etc.front frame (engine carriage and suspension) to the 46 ford frame, Box in the the rest of the ford frame

you can channel your coupe over a narrower frame if necessary.
Several hot rod companies make frames,tube or channel,to your specs.You can get it as complete as you want.
40 some years ago,we had a 35 Ford 3 window,chopped channeled,sectioned,the frame Z'd as a dirt track modified with a big block Ford(430) in it.
