My opinion of in-laws is the farther away they live, the better!
My opinion of family in general is this: if you have the chance to move into a state that contains no other family members do it! Right now, my husband and I have narrowed our future residence choices down to 7 states!!! The rest have some sort of family living in them!

and the question would be? Yes, when you get married you get in-laws. Some suck, some are really cool, some can even be better than your own parents...but when you get married, they come too!
