ok..I just saw this last week, I'll tell you what I remember. Angelina Jolie's character found a book called "the bone collector" from which the serial killer was copying crimes. She realized what was next and went to the location. She rescued a little girl, but an old man w/her died. Jolie looked around for the killer's next "clue" - which he left at every scene. found a broken lock. went in. saw some #'s. realized it was Denzel Washington's old badge number and that he was next. She shot the killer (who turned out to be the man who worked on his medical machines in beginning of movie) just as he was about to kill Washington. The end.

THE KILLER SHOWED UP AT DENZEL WASHINGTON'S CHARATERS HOUSE AND ANGELINA JOLIA'S CHARATER FIGURED OUT ALL THE CLUS, AND WENT BACK TO DENZEL' S HOUSE AND KILLED THE SERIAL KILLER.

DENZEL SMASHES THE KILLER'S HAND IN HIS BED AND THEY WRESTLE TO THE FLOOR DENZEL BITES HIM IN THE EAR WHEN THE KILLER TRIES TO KILL DENZEL THE TRAINEE OF DENZEL SHOOTS THE KILLER AND KILLS HIM.
