Signs of when I was going into labor pre-contractions were being fidgety and anxious, a complete inability to get comfortable or sit still. I wasn't hungry, and I had to use the bathroom ever minute or so. This went on for maybe an hour or two and then the contractions started. With both of my pregnancies I felt the nesting urge ever since I was 4 months. But everyone is different, and if your nesting feelings are making you very anxious it could be part of the process. Your tummy troubles might also just be a sign that you don't feel well. Labor contractions start in the lower back and move to the front. Also, there can be pressure like the baby is pushing down.

Nesting can occur anytime with a pregnancy. Losing your mucous plug doesn't indicate any sign of labor, it could be days or weeks. You butt hurts probably because of the diarhea. If you are having contractions that is a good sign of oncoming labor, or your water breaks. Otherwise there really is nothing.
I know how you feel, the end weeks seem to drag on longer than ever and you look for any sign that the end is coming. Just relax, enjoy the last week(s) and remember that no pregnancy lasted forever! Good Luck.

You can not nest at all or nest for months.
The diarrhea and pains are better guides. Sometimes, depending on where the baby is sitting, contractions can seem like back pain, leg pain, etc.
I always go by when I start spotting/bleeding - this means the cervix is dilating.
I wouldn't necessarily go by your water breaking - I've given birth 6 times, and my water broke only when I was 9-10 cm dilated. My last baby actually was born with the bag of waters intact!

I was nesting about 2 weeks before I had my children. When you have contractions consistant throughout the day and are dialated, that is a good sign. If they get 5 minutes apart for an hour consistant then head to the hospital.

Well, my OB told me that you can lose your plug about a month before you go into labor...it does grow back. Some women never lose their plug..some don't realize they've lost it...and some still think they've lost it even though they haven't. I nested throughout my entire pregnancy. I stayed very active too. You will know you are going into labor when you have contractions (not Braxton-Hicks contractions). Keep yourself busy, and don't worry about when you are going to deliver. Added stress about delivery will make things harder on you....this time you have should be about YOU. Congratulations, by the way....enjoy your baby! They grow up way too fast (mine just turned 1)!

Nesting doesn't mean anything at all. You could go into labor at any time though, due to the time you lost your plug.

there are nine months of pregnancy, your labor cannot start until your water had broken out, then once about you're almost go to the hospital, you'll breathe breathe breathe as hard as you're firm. Your nesting starts I think when you have your baby out of you. And that until your doctors say you need to nest then you'll need to nest.

"Nesting" is a fairly loose definition to describe behavioural patterns.
Regardless of everything else, if you have had diarreha for 2 days (or more) you need to go see your doctor. The last thing you need is an infection or virus while you are 9 months pregnant.

Hard to say because it varies from woman to woman. I nested in my second trimester. However the day before she was born, i felt so incredibly crappy. Just real sickly and crappy that I didn't comb my hair, bathe, brush teeth or nothing. I just went to work in wrinkly clothes because I felt so terrible.
The next morning I went into labor.

It could be anywhere from a couple of hours , to a couple of weeks. It just depends on how far along you are. I lost my plug 2 weeks ago, and Sunday I was having contractions, but they stopped. My due date is tomorrow, But It could still be another week. It just all depends on when your baby is ready to come out.
