There is barely any content not suitable for tweens. If there is some naughty behavior, it is always pixelated and censored. Heck, I've been playing Resident Evil's since age 6, so trust me, Sim's 2 isn't traumatizing.

Lol. The Sims 2 was rated 'E' for 'Everyone' by ESRB (i think) and so it's meant for every and anyone. There's really NO degree of inappropriate game-play in the game. Bathing, going to the bathroom and so on are blocked by distortion. Having sex or WhooHooing are also very subtly done.

Yes...wait a few more years until you're a little more mature. they're a lot of sexual content...and you can download some...nude males even on the main site. There are censor bars, but it doesn't take away the suggestive content. I wouldn't play it until you were a few years older, by then they may have the Sims3 and it'll be well worth the wait.

Honestly, that is up to you and your parents. The ESRB is there to be a tool for parents to help on deciding which games to purchase for their children, much like the rating system for movies. If you and your parents agree that the Sim's 2 is okay for you to play, then that is alright.

Almost anyone is old enough to play the Sims. The bad nudity is censored, there's no cursing, and no sex... heck the adults sleep in seperate beds.

My friend has a daughter exactly your age, and she has been playing for at least a year, probably two. I've been playing for as long as the game has been out, and in my opinion, there is nothing in there that would be inappropriate for someone your age.

unless you pay to get the patches that some sites offer to make it nude and such i think it would be fine. i have all expansion packs and have played many hours and i would allow my kids. but it is really up to your parents. if you know someone with it ask if one or both parents would try it at friends house and make a decision after.
