Seriously, is anyone going to vote or think differently because someone trolled here about "why are dems so stupid" or "why are neo-cons so lame?" Is there no way to exchange ideas without resorting to childish schoolyard style name calling?

The quality of the questions & many answers do seem to be quite low quality, but a few folks are sincere, or at least they don't understand how the other side can think the way they do. I personally try to give them sincere logical answers, and a few people do respond with open minds, or at least a little appreciation for the mutual respect & reasonable debate. Id on't know if minds are changed, but ina few cases the anger is softened, and they get just as much chance to change my mind too.

Very true. Some people just like to attack others who have different beliefs than them. It makes them feel important. I've also found that so many people are actually looking for confirmation of their beliefs. Kind of sad to go through life always looking for someone to agree with you. I'd love to see some good political questions that don't attack me right off of the bat.

Bravo! Well said! They just have to have someone hear their ridiculous opinions, because everyone else around them has heard them and their TIRED OF IT! And they want to see if others will rally with them or what shock value he/she can get out of it. They want to stir the pot.
