the other day i noticed my friend and i weren't getting along like we used 2. i asked her about it and she said that 2 guys liked me and she wanted them to like her instead so she said bad stuff about me to them and also to a few of my girlfriends. Obviously this is jealousy? i can hardly even look those people in the eye cuz of what she told them. she doesn't like it that i'm popular and prettier than she is so she does this to make me sound bad. what should i do? i am desperate!!!

don't worry about what she said. you know whatever it is isnt true and if the people she told are your friends, then they also know the truth. she's obviously very insecure and jealous and starving for attention. people might take her side for a little while but dont get too upset because they'll learn what a little liar she is and you will have all ur friends back. just keep on being nice to her and it will make her look stupid.

the first thing you should do is make sure that you understand the meaning of the word friend. I would suggest dictionary.com or wikipedia. With that in mind, you should understand that friends do not do those things to friends. Sure, jealousy occurs to friends, but it will never interefer in a "TRUE" friendship. You have to cut her loose, and let her figure out what a friend really is. On the bright side of things, at least she was honest in telling you what she did and why.

If she is a close friend that you have known for a long time you should Waite a couple of weeks without talking to her, she will eventually come to her senses.
If she is a "new" friend that you have only known for a little while get her out of your life. You don't want to have negative people in your life, especially if she is jealous and says bad things about you. good luck!

Sounds like she isn't a good friend at all, jealousy can bring people to do some crazy things, just explain to your other friends the truth and hopefully if they are good friends they will believe you!

You sound a little snobbish to me. What makes you think you are prettier than her? Perhaps you should try judging yourself before you judge others. It sounds to me like she is better off without you. Who needs enemies when they have friends like you?

If she is acting like that she shouldn't be your friend. That was really mean of her to say things about her. I would stay away and ask the people what she said about you.

Don't be desperate. And, stop calling her your friend. A friend would never do that to another friend. Hold your head up and get you a real and true friend that can appreciate your beauty and sensitivity.

NO FRIEND would talk bad about you, no matter how much they would like for someone to like them.

I would take some time off from that friend. think about what's happened, and see if your life is empty without her. You don't need a friend like that.
