Nope, my husband has no interest either, cant stand it like yourself. The only footballers he can actually recognise are Pele, David Seaman, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney (for obvious reasons - even the most determined head in the sand football hater can't have escaped the media coverage of the last pair!) If England are playing he'll go shopping or to the tip (no queues). I happened to mention Crouch had scored the first goal tonight and he hadn't a clue. Even when I said it was the very tall lanky one that does the robot dance he looked blank.

He admitted he feels a bit left out of things in the office when all the lads are discussing the footy or texting one another madly but it doesnt make him want to suddenly acquire a keen interest in the game - quite the opposite in fact. So you are by no means the only one that feels this way, so no need to feel strange :-)

I dont think anyone is going to believe you are strange simple because you dont like sports, it is something that you can do on your own in actions vs likes and dislikes.

Sports is like food you have to have a taste for it, and while a majority of men do like sports its not unusual that they like only 1 or 2 types or none at all

Find something you like and stick with it, life is too short to be worried about not liking something

You mean soccer? you must be an american if you don't like soccer. I hate basketball, and tired of seeing it everyday in T.V. if you're an american, then that's why U.S.A won't get so far in the world cup. We're just not too interested in the best game in the world which is "Soccer".

No way - It all comes down to my pet hate again! Society dictating who has to do (and like) what! Just cause your male, doesn't mean you must like football or can't ware pink, or must do 'BOY' things! It's really annoying. You either like football or you don't! Simple as that, doesn't matter if your male.

No, you're not strange. Well, maybe. But as long as you're into something that the world can actually profit from you're fine.
