If you get it as a puppy straight from the mother and teach it that you are Alpha Male/Female you shouldn't have any problems.
My mom had one that was wolf/husky mix but was 92% wolf. The only big thing you have to worry about is as there get older their attitude changes.
My moms wolf was 8/9 yrs old and started snapping at family so had to put him down. Other wise they make good watch dogs.
If I could get one, I would.

yes i want to breed them. It would be best to get a wolf hybrid. U can train them juss lyke any other breed.
Here is some info on Wolf hybrids:
Wolf Hybrid
(Wolf Hybred) (Wolf Dogs)
Wolf / Domestic Dog cross
The Wolf Hybrid is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between a Domestic Dog and a Wolf. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed.
A Wolf-hybrid can be quite skittish and does not respond well to inanimate objects, fast motion, loud noises, or new people. They require much patience. Training is not for the weak and serious consideration should be given prior to obtaining a wolf-hybrid dog as they require firm, consistent training and ample space to roam. If there's something you find foul and offensive you can bet a wolf dog will roll happily in it and coat themselves in the funk! It is not until a Wolf Hybrid is about 18 months of age, that it will start showing signs of the wolf. Wolfs younger than 18 months of age are adolescents, they are playful and adaptable. They take directions readily and can bond with other species. Young wolves act more like the common dog as they have not developed into maturity. As a wolf grows out of its adolescents, its hormonal system reaches maturity and it will begin to exhibit all of the typical behaviors of the wolf.
"If you talk to the animals,
they will talk to you, and you will know each other.
If you do not talk to them, you will not know them,
and what you do not know, you will fear.
What one fears, one destroys." - Chief Dan George
Some of them are very beautiful I had one once. She was a sweetie.

No. I live in Pennsylvania and about two months ago some people had wolf hybrids as pets. These wolves got loose and were killing cats and other peoples' dogs. They are wild animals and they deserve to be free! I dated a guy with a wolf hybrid, and let me tell you, he was extremely mean and aggressive. I love animals, especially wolves, but there is nooooooooooooooo way that you could possibly have one as a pet. If you have no experience with them, forget it. Go adopt a homeless dog from your local animal shelter and save a life. If you want a dog that resembles a wolf, then get a Siberian Husky or Alaskan Malamute.

I am assuming you are talking about wolf hybrids. Which is a mix of a wolf and a domesticated pet. No, they are not good pets. I can't tell you how many cases of bites and injuries have occured because someone wanted to have a wolf hybrid as a pet. They always will have a wild nature. They cannot be domesticated, and it is unfair to try to have them as pets.
Wolves are beautiful, intelligent animals, but they will always be wild. There are dogs that closely resemble wolves, such as malamutes or Siberian Huskies. Please consider these options instead.

No, they're not. I wanted a wolf hybrid and did some research. They definitely DO NOT make good pets. They are IMPOSSIBLE to housetrain, for one thing, they are grand escape artisits, and just overall not a good pet. Not to mention the fact that a lot of places have ordinances against owning these dogs. If you want a dog that looks like a wolf, do a search for different dog breeds.

Well I had a wolfhybird.. She was the best dog out of all the dog;s I have ever had... Her Mother was Artic gray / Huskie Her father was Timer /Greman shepardShe looked just like a Black shepard only with alot of the wolf trait's.. And she walked all the old people in the neighbor hood every morning.. She hardly ever barked... She did howl abit at times... And she never had puppies... She only came in Heat once A year. But that depends on what state you live to... Alot of States have Banded them... We had to have a 500 premit for her because she was band in our state... And alot of vets wont give them thier shot's if they find out that thier part wolf.. Well thier are just as many Dog bite's with Pitt's, Greman shepard's, Rott;s, Dobermans, And so on... Those wolf hybrid's that attack people were either chained up or in a small kennel.. Mine was a house dog. I have 4 Kids and she never showed any agression toward anyone. She might come out and stalk you. She lived to be 15 yrs old... IT'S ALL IN HOW YOU RAISE THEM !

As a former volunteer at a wolf-hybrid rescue center in Phoenix, I took care of over 100 of these dogs who were either abused, neglected, or were controlling their masters to the point that they had to get rid of them. We had 8 as pets. If you have a large place to keep them where they can run and there are no neighbors, and you can have more than one, they make great pets. But as indoor dogs it would be a big mistake. These dogs get very large(I'm 6ft 1 in) and they could stand on hind legs with front paws on my shoulders!

No wild animal is a good pet. Plus, they are illegal in most places. There has been breeding of wolves with german shepherds to create a hybrid that is more domesticated. Think about it, would you feel safe sleeping with a wolf in your house? or is your intent to keep it caged - like the wild animal it is - then it's not a pet anyway.

Wolves make terrible pets. They need huge areas of land and other wolves in order to express healthy behaviors. They are not domesticated, only somewhat tame meaning they will not obey commands and will dislike being handled by humans. If you keep a wolf as a pet you are being cruel to him because of your desires. He will experience a myriad of health problems and an early death away from his family.

Not at all, even wolf hybrids (half dog, half wolf) do not work well. Wolves are wild animals and their instincts to hunt and roam are not compatible with domestic situations. If you love wolves, you will not want to keep one as a pet.

Generally, wild animals don't make good pets and something as big as a wolf could be dangerous.
