Many things can effect mood. Many we can control, others are completely out of our control. Look for things that can help cheer you up. If it continues too long it would not be wrong to seek help from a doctor. If you don't feel like going that route, I've heard some people have had some good results taking something called St. John's Wart. I believe it is an herb type of thing that is pretty safe but also is supposed to be a positive mood enhancer.
What ever you do make sure you understand what is going on and what the risks are of anything you take before taking it.
Hope you feel better.

I felt the same way about a year ago, but then mine was accompanied with anxiety issues. I went to my doctor. She put me on Zoloft and I've felt better ever since. I still have my moody times like everyone but I feel a lot better. Also I told my doctor what I THOUGHT was wrong and that I thought I needed some help. Also, if its not biological, maybe try talking to a therapist or conselor so you can get help. Honestly, the longer you put it off, the worse you'll feel. You should also evaluate what is going on in your life that may be the cause. Talk to someone you trust or your doctor so you can start down the path of recovery.

I have felt that way MANY times in my life. If it continues or gets worse, talk to a counsler, but medication should be a last resort. I do not think that you are clinically depressed, probably just down in the dumps about somethings. What I think is that there are probably a lot of little things that have you feeling this way. That makes it very hard to get out of that mood, because you can't really talk about it because you don't know what to talk about, which is extremely frustrating.
Here is what I have done in the past that has helped me. Listen to music, not necessarily your usual music. Try listening to different genres, you never know, you might fall in love with say Tracy Chapman or Sarah McLauchlan. Also, try writing. I don't mean like a dairy, but like poetry. Keep in mind that poetry does not have to rhyme. Poetry is the ultimate form of self-expression, and most often it is totally exaggerated, which is good, then you can express your feelings and make them sound more dramatic. In writing not only have you expressed yourself, but you have created something beautiful and totally unique.
Hope this helps you. Hang in there, this feeling will pass.

Theres a lot of explainations to how your feeling. Did anything happen lately that upset you, or made you worry? Are you going through a lot of pressure. If so that coud just be stress. Don't worry about stress, because everybody goes through stress at somepoint in their lives. Do you feel depressed and sad a lot? Then that could be depression. Also, this one is pretty drastic, but, you could even be pregnant. If you feel sick a lot of the time then, there is a good chance that you're pregnant. But you should go to the doctor, and ask him/her about your situation. He/she will probably know the answer to your problem. Ok, well I hope this helped you. Feel better!

Can you find someone that you trust to talk to? Also, if you are having a difficult childhood (like many of us have had...) talk to your school nurse or counselor. Sometimes stress brings on early onset of hormonal problems that can cause depression. The important thing is to find a person that will be your advocate -- a helper who will see this through until you smile again. You deserve a good childhood and a good life. Keep at it, honey, until you get the results that you want. You can do it.

When my fiance goes to work and I'm by myself, or anytime I get bored, I tend to feel "down" or depressed, too. If you feel sick and it starts to bother you all the time you could see if the doctor could help you. They might give you an anti depressent. I think the sickness symptom can be a sign of depression, though. Is it a kind of nervous feeling? There is no point in feeling bad if you can feel better. Good luck!

First dont tell us tell your parents who can do something to help you. Second if you feel like you cant tell them then look in the front of your phone book and find the number for crisis center but sounds like a chemical imbalance or is someone hurting you and you dont feel safe? Either way tell someone in authority or call 1-800-962-2873 and they will find someone in your area to help. You really should tell your parents though, don't let something like that come from someone else. And again if they won't listen then call 1-800-962-2873 and I promise you they will listen!

Just sounds like a little depression or cabin fever. I have felt like that. You should plan on going on a trip or something with your friends to get your mind off of it. It will eventually go away. Good Luck <3 Have a good summer!!
