It used to represent the state of birth, but it no longer does. The first three (3) digits of a person's social security number are determined by the ZIP Code of the mailing address shown on the application for a social security number. (which may not be their home state bear in mind - for example I was born in Maryland but you wouldnt know that by this listing, which makes sense since I doubt they got around to submitting for my card from there). I don't know much about the answer...but the last entry...DUJU...I do know that my first three number do not follow that state guideline...I have lived in Indiana all my life and my frist three numbers are not listed within the numbers you found.
