They're pretty helpful. They make your urine more acidic so bacteria cannot adhere to the walls of your urinary tract. Take a bunch at a time (4 or 5) when you feel like a UTI might be coming on, and they'll probably ward off the infection. Good luck.

Cranberry tabs are used to make the urine more acidic so bladder infections occur less frequently. Cranberry juice is better if it is real juice and not the concentrated kind. You can use both at the same time without harm. When you wipe after urinating, are you wiping from front to back? Wiping from back to front is how UTI's usually happen. eColi is usually the culprit with UTI's in females.

I tried them and everything else. I got sick of taking them because I was still getting infections and they dont work like an antibiotic, duh. I got them from sex. My favorite thing. Ruined. Boo. Go pee afterwards, within 40 minutes I was told by the urologist. Taking cranberry pills to keep bladder infections away is like bug spray, your still going to get bit, but maybe not as often, depending on how sweet your blood is.

They can help but the best thing is water.
