This is my first aswell. Im 21 weeks and still have not felt kicking. Im kinda on the heavier side, but my midwife said that does not matter. Im sure we will start to feel it soon. I would say not later then 5-6 months. If you get an aultra sound you can see the baby moving all around, but still dont fell it. Good luck with everything

Four months (16-20 weeks) is the average time that women start feeling the baby move. Sometimes you feel it a little sooner, sometimes a little a later. It depends partly on your body type, also on how aware you are of your normal body functioning. Some women say the first movement feels like gas bubbles, but I never thought that. It was very strange, and felt more like butterflies and pressures.

For a 1st time mom to feel the baby kick is usually longer than those who've already had children.... Usually at about 20 weeks (5 months) !st time moms can feel movement, (feels like lil gas bubbles) It's usually not till about 24 weeks (6 months) that other people can feel the kicks.... remember it takes a lil bit longer for 1st time moms... but as soon as it happens you know.. and will enjoy every minute! Good Luck!

A little ways into your second trimester. Usually about 16-18 weeks you can feel tiny flutters that COULD be kicks or could be gas. :) These will get stronger, and after about twenty weeks, you'll really notice it.

If you ever get worried because you haven't felt a kick in a while, drink a very cold glass of orange juice and lie down. The sugar will often prompt the baby to really boogie.

They usually say around 20 weeks but everyone is a little different. It may be a little sooner or later especially if it is your first you may not realize that the baby had been kicking until you are farther along.

You should be able to feel little flutters by 4 months that feels like gas moving in your belly. By 5 months they should feel more like small movement and kicks. Congradulations on your first baby, it is a wonderful thing to be able to feel the baby move for the first time. I will never forget mine.

Usually you'll feel some fluttering around 3-4 months.
The second time around, I always said, "If I fart in a few minutes, I guess it wasn't the baby."
It's hard to identify what's what until around the 5th or 6th month lol
