I know I am supposed to ignore him and I am but he just will not leave me alone. Any ideas?

He is anonymous. I know a few guys personally and not sure which one it could be. He sends me IMS and he says he has been keeping track of everything I do

I assume IMS is instant messages? If this is true then with the help of Yahoo or someone that specializes in computer security and investigation, they should be able to trace the IP address. The IP address is the unique address that all PCs have. The Ip address should be able to lead them to the geographical address of the computer. If all goes well you will then know the name of this person based on the house address or work address if he's using a pc at work.
You should post this one in computers and internet. There's some computer geeks that could probably help to trace an IP address.

I would say the best thing to do is not to ignore him. I know it sounds crazy but crazy is if he keeps stalking you and you're not doing anything about it. If he only stalks you when your alone do not confront him at all! Just stare at him as if you were crazy and talk about someone who is very protective over you on a fake phone conversation on a cell phone. If you're with alot of people then point him out and beleive me your problems will be over. When it gets too out of hand then just tell him you'll have to get a restraining order! I hope you Succeed in this.

Most states have very specific laws on stalking. You need to go to the police and file a restraining order.I would also ask friends and family to help you out by going places with you and staying at your residence. Carry pepper spray (ask the police where you can get it) and also check out self defense classes. After you have filed the restraining order if he is still bothering you he can be arrested. Please be careful and try not to go any where you think he might be if you can help it.I hope everything turns out OK.

Call the cops but that probably will not help.
Set a trap. You need to find out what he looks like and where he lives. Small video camaras are cheap. Flour can be used to get foot prints and track him.
Suck him into a trap and then follow him when he leaves when you are in disguise.
Then, make him be the nervous one.
Tell his neighbors what he is doing annonymously.
Embarass him at work.
Never let him know who you are and he will avoid anyone to make this stop. Never admit it.

Go to the police. I had a stalker once and it's scary!! He was following me home from work and everything and I didn't even know it. Long story short, the situation is over now, but you definitely need to go to the police and report this activity. That's the best advise I have because carrying pepper spray to protect yourself.
Good Luck!

constantly change your schedule. Be very unpredictable. Stay busy. Avoid the area where he is seen as much as possible.
When you talk to him. be nice and honest and keep the conversations brief. Do not agree to go anywhere with him. If he ask, tell him you are busy. If you do not make yourself stalkable, he will lose interest. Best Wishes.
