Anyone use one of those PODS things? I just have a studio but plan to move across the country in August. I'm going to drive my car but it's only a sedan and can't fit my furniture. I'm contemplating selling it or using something like a pod. Any other ideas for cheap moving?

Unfortunately, moving is never cheap. Your cheapest option is probably a uhaul. However, you can get a decent amount of furniture moved (slowly) with a typical vanline for a decent price. Try a line like Atlas, Mayflower, or North American and see what sort of price you can get on your furniture.

Otherwise, you're better off to sell and start over.

PODS are definitely not a cheap option - I'm moving in just over a week and the least expensive way we found was to rent a Penske truck and tow our car behind it - it's going to be less than $500 for our five day rental

Rent a uhaul trailer to attach to your car... That's a cheap way... If you don't care about your stuff then just sell it and replace it later...
