Their called the ents an if you havent seen it, the part where the trees are in is about frodos friends (can't remember their names) asks the trees to help them fight in war! The trees were slow thinkers and the friends didn't have time so they took the head tree to were all the tree were burned down and he got angry so said he would fight! Then at the war the broke off the dam and most of the bad guys drowned away!!

Ents are a fictional race from J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy world of Middle-earth. These Ents are very different from traditional Ents, appearing as humanoid trees. They appear to have been inspired by the talking trees of many of the world's folklores.

Ents. There was Treebeard, and Quickbeam was in the novel. I believe they were the only ones identified by name.
All the Ents are male, BTW; the Entwives (who are supposed to look something like those nested Russian dolls) left them long ago (an issue of particular concern to old Fangorn/Treebeard).

They are Ents. They speak Entish. The main Entish character was named Treebeard.

They are called Ents though they have more in the books the one that talks in the movie is called TreeBeared ( i unno if i spelled that right though )

Ents. They are cool. Merry and Pippin got them to fight in the war against the orcs. Pretty cool.
