That's mean. I don't know how else to put it. Why do people do that to their children? On so many levels, it's bad, kids will mock her during school, later in life she'll have to spell it repeatedly and waste her time, for what? So you can brag about how "interesting" it is? Or as a tribute to your friend? I wholeheartedly disagree, Katie. Might as well call the child Cholo Bolo. What kind of retard would name someone that?
How about aaralin or anacin as her middle name, and a first name like, Mary or Jenny, huh?

I personally think that you should go for a middle name with only one syllable, considering that there are 3 in the first name; I think it will flow nicer that way. What about Sue or Rae or May or Kay?

Whatever you decide on, scream the whole name (first, middle and last) three times - like you are yelling at the kid. If it rolls off the tongue easily, then you are good. There is nothing worse than trying to get your kid to stop doing something wrong and you can't even get their name out right. Very embarrassing.

Something short, to balance a first name with three syllables. Stay away from anything that rhymes with the first name or is longer than 2 syllables. It'll sound like a big jumble.
