Which one is hotter on average: The mistress or the one at home?

I know that all guys who cheat are scum and blah, blah blah. I don't need a lecture and I don't plan on cheating. It's just that whenever I am watching the talk shows discussing infidelity, the first thing I notice is that the mistress -ON AVERAGE- looks better than the one at home. I know there are some dogs out there who will get with anything and there are other guys who think "even filet mignon gets old when you have it every day". There will surely be a few women who complain about the one guy who cheated with a skank. Again, ON AVERAGE, don't you find that guys usually cheat with a better looking woman? Or at least a similar looking woman? Not that all guys cheat with knockouts. Maybe the guy only likes 6's or 7's on a scale of 10...

If I was a cheater (and I'm not) I'd see it as half my money is a lot of money. If I am gonna risk losing half I better make it worth it. I RARELY see or hear about some guy leaving his girl for a fatter or uglier woman. What do you think?

I think people cheat because the spark is missing. If the wife wears old tennis shoes and a T-shirt everyday, and never brushes her hair or teeth, the guy is more likely to notice a really pretty girl. If someone at his office is batting eyelashes and his wife is taking care of things, he may think twice.

Same goes for the husband.

I believe the REAL issue with cheating/cheater's is that they are usually going for someone who 'has it together', more than their spouse. So it naturally follows that the 'mistress' would be better looking sometimes.

There are many reasons for cheating, yet when the infedility is FOR sex with someone else, it is usually because their spouse is a bore, has poor sexual skills, is not GOOD at communicating, is insecure, is feeling weak, is feeling powerless, is whining, is complaining, etc............

Thus the REAL way to deal with 'cheating' by anyone who doesn't want their spouse to ever cheat in the first place is to be open, be honest, be aggressive at self-development, and candidly communicate. GIVE respect in order to get it. Don't be demanding, be GIVING. From there if the relationship STLL doesn't work out, then you're with the wrong person.

i agree - the one on the side is usually hotter - or like a total opposite of the wife or someone that does like freaky stuff and the wife is like SHOCKED her husband would be into that.

i don't think that is why they cheat though. i think, like the previous poster, it is more about how the mistress makes the guy feel. like someone is really fascinated by what they say and thinks they are smart and funny. they want to be a girls hero or something like that. after you are married awhile, that dies off a bit.

seriously, it should be a wake up call to wives when they see those homewreckers looking so great. guys need the visual image - that is just how they are made.

My ex told me before that if you eat vanilla ice cream everyday even though you might like it sometimes you want a different flavor so I guess that is how alot of relationships are too. Not that they don't love the person but everything gets old after a while. Sometimes guys don't only go by looks but who is the freakiest. I've seen alot of situation where the girl that the guy was cheating with didn't necessarily look better than the main woman and it makes you wonder what in the world they wanted with her but perfomance in the bedroom sometimes overpowers looks.

i don't believe looks has all that much to do with it. i would imagine the extremely vain folks look for a better looking woman to cheat with. but for the most part i think cheating is a product of ones own insecurities, and has little to do with looks. it's more a product of trying to compensate for something in their minds that makes them feel better about themselves. cheating is a symptom of another problem within ones self the vast majority of the time. otherwise you'd have the courtesy to end the relationship you're in instead of cheating.

From what I have seen they seem to be uglier and fatter because they are desperate and will perform tasks (if you know what I mean) that others may not. Like this girl I worked with you would not believe it. Not saying that overweight girls are like that just the desperate girls in general.

i know of someone who cheated on his beautiful wife (both physically and mentally beautiful!) with this nasty trailer park trash red-head with 3 teeth missing in the front of her mouth. And it was because she paid attention to him at work when he was stressed. It wasn't as if the wife wasn't supportive, she just never heard about the problems at work, and he never told her. He just kept his emotions bottled up and confined to the work place.

As far as I know, he still works with her, but I'm not sure if he's still seeing the mistress. If he were smart, he wouldn't, because my friend's got some MAJOR connections in the law-world.

I agree with you,Plus its human nature,like we cant eat same food everyday.There is one more thing which is in the culture,girls are very open in america,they lose their virginty when they are really young,16,17,18,,,so it seems like they cant be happy with one person for long because their sex expections are so very high and getting even higher everytime they add another partner in their life.I personally think if a girl can wait till marriage and lose her virginty to her husband there is very good chance for divorce rate to come down.something to think about.right?

i have heard it said that the guy cheats with a woman because of the ATTENTION she gives him. Dont know if it is true or not. And just for hte record..how many HOT women are part of your social group. Most are fat and ugly in my circle of friends!
