I think they are more happy the Cubs didn't win. Why are they obsessed with the Cubs? Your team won the World Series, enjoy it. I have never seen such sore winning in my life.

Im a Sox fan , watching the cubs as i write.I always pulled for both but just like the Sox better. The only time i mention negativity about the cubs is when a fan says something totally stupid!I was at a crosstown classic game with my son and a Sox fan by us was a complete a$$hole toward the cubs fans and my son and i were disgusted.Cubs are like americas team, every where you go there is cubs fans and thats just fine.I just feel sorry for the cub fans because they have the best ball park in the best surroundings and theyre owned by a company that hasnt lost a dime on that team yet they seem to make bad decisions in their players they aquire or put in their farm system.Long story short is it works both ways ,There is plenty of cub fans that want to see us lose just like the die hard Sox fans that want the cubs to lose.Personally i prefer they both win and end up in a series together, then im with the Sox all the way!oh ya when i get crap from a cub fan i just show my world series hat and dont say a word.At the cost of taking a family of 5 to a game if they dont show up to play hard and win im watching on tv.

All hell might harm unfastened in Chicago. it could be super to work out the White Sox interior the worldwide sequence. the total city of Chicago could be divided by who's a White Sox fan, and who's a Cubs fan. Cubs might win the worldwide sequence.

For the same reason that Met fans can't relish their team's acchievements without mentioning the Yankees.

When two teams share a city... there's always a favorite and a bastard son.

Regardless of wins and losses and that ONE world series win... the White Sox are still the bastard sons of Chicago, and the Cubbies are still the favorite.

So for the few White Sox fans... they feel a constant need to try to show off their big brothers.

Being a Chicagoan, I can tell you it's because Chicagoans ADORE the Cubs whether they are winning or losing. The Cubs are THE baseball team in Chicago. Thus they feel the need to rub it in the face of Cubs fans. It won't work though. It will always be the Cubbies in Chicago... hope that helps give you persepctive...

I never hear White Sox fans mentioning the Cubs. I do hear a lot of Cubs fans whining, oh we are cursed, can't we catch a break, I hate Bartman, etc. etc.

The Cubs fans are obsessed with themselves. No one else cares.

They dont, I havent heard White Sox fans say anything about the Cubs when they talk about their world series, all they talk about is winning another one this year.

Because they don't want anyone to forget thier little brother! Honestly, I love both the White Sox and the Cubbies...you have no idea what it's like moving to another state and the baseball team is the Detroit Tigers....holy shNykies they suck !

Not all White Sox fans are like that.

As hard as it is to believe, there are actually one or two White Sox fans are nice and polite.

I've been enjoying it, but it's hard not to make the comparison when the two teams are 8 miles apart.
