Why not the military soldiers, law enforcement, teachers, lawyers, doctors? etc...

Because Celebrities have the money, the glamor , the popularity that teachers, lawyers etc don't. Celebrities have the life that people would love to have. They love listening to celebs problems rather than face their own. Its called fantasy, on the inside these Celebs are just a boring or normal as anyone else.

They have no life, and the advertising companies hype everything a star does. Its the glamor and glitz that most people never have so they watch the made up version on TV or the movies.

I'm as interested in celebrities as they are in me. In ancient Rome actors were considered lower than begger drunks. I have never raised them above that level in my mind.

It is all the media hype and agent promotions. We are brain washed by it all. That is if we take it all serious.
