Good point.
Why do we need a 'father's day' or a 'mother's day'?
My mom posed this question years ago.
She told my brothers and I that these dates are commercialization's of who she was.
That by commercializing them it actually takes away from the meaning of being a mother or a father.
Her point is that EVERY DAY she is a mother and the reward was in being the best mother she could.
Years later, now as a father, I hold the same opinion.
So please, don't hold a special sale for dad's day on my account.
I love being a dad.
I don't need some business selling my family some junk just so they can feel good about themselves for doing something special for 'dad'.
I AM special...I AM a dad and I LOVE it!!!
My wife, however, feels differently...so I get her some stuff she likes and have our son give it to her.
Everybody is happy if momma is happy!

Without Fathers & Mothers there won't be any uncles, aunties, bros or sisters.
Anyway don't worry. We have a day for each & every person somewhere in this world.
You can also create a one.

No. It doesn't take any effort in being an aunt, uncle, brother, or sister unless the mom and dad aren't doing a good job at being parents.
Friendly Day is a good idea.

Yeah, but everybody knows that Aunties and Uncles rule anyway. I get full attention when I visit my neice and nephew. To them, I am the bomb.

I don't know they should be in aug. and sept. not many holidays then. Of course at one point or another the brother, sister, aunt, and uncle all have a chance to be a mom or dad.

Being an uncle is easy- you get to be the hero and pass them back to mom and dad when they cry or fill up the diaper.

Why fathers day and mothers day? because your mom and dad have been there hopefully more than your aunt and uncle. and if your aunt and uncle are there for your more than your mom and dad then they become your mom and dad so on father and mothers day you celebrate them!

Wow...that's a neat idea. I'm sure if it were marketable, Hallmark would have been all over it already, don't you??
Thanks but no thanks - we've already got moms, dads, grandparents, sweetest, in-laws, boss', employees, friendship, earth, and all sorts of other "holidays" (I like to call them "Hallmark holidays" personally). You want to remember the rest of the extraneous family members, do so on their birthdays!

at first, you will desire to understand that popping out as bisexual is diverse to popping out as gay. it rather is because of the fact bisexuality is misunderstood by potential of many. Be arranged for right here solutions: "Does that advise you're gay?" "you won't be able to have the two, you will desire to be sure which one you like," "in case you like the alternative intercourse then why on earth would you pick an identical intercourse substantial different?"
