At Harris you get points for taking surveys and after getting a certain number of points you can redeem them for different things - I have gotten a couple of movies and a blender (yeah I know but I really did need one!)
At greenfield you usually only get a chance to win a drawing, but they have great surveys and you can really feel like you are making an impact
Synovate - I actually did get a check from them for $12. I was pretty supproised. mostly they just send things like calendars, and pens, notepads and a waterbottle

I have went on all the survey sites. There are no legitimate ones and they fill your e-mail with junk!
