Ask the receiver to login in the provider's website and quote your sender e-mail address as "wanted" - that should be easy.

Probably e-mails of your provider are considered as spam by the Indian provider.

What happens when you send an email to your friend? Do you get a message back telling you it didn't go through? If you do, it will tell you why it didn't go through. If you can't understand it, post what it says is the reason, but don't post your friend's email address.
