LMAO. I find this question hilarious considering that, I, the woman, brought most of the funds into our marriage.
And, BTW, marriage isn't a financial transaction. It is about love, committment, and a desire to raise a family TOGETHER. People who think of it solely in terms of money (like you) are doomed to failed and unsatisfactory relationships until they understand that there is more to life than money.
Oh, and while I may technically make less money now, I am hardly 'living off' him. I cook, clean, do laundry, do grocery shopping, feed the animals, make the beds, keep the plants, pay the bills, maintain the finances, must I go on? Most women more than "earn their keep". JA

Oh! Har!Har!Har!
This is something that women have said in reverse: YOu men just want to marry US so you can have an unpaid slave. "A woman's place is in the kitchen." "All women should be barefoot and pregnant." You get a free cook, a free housekeeper, you don't have to pay to copulate, you get a weaker boxing partner who will always loose if your lucky, a free tutor for your children, a free girl-friday, a free chauffeur, a free everything. If you paid all those people to do all those things, you would be in the negative incomewise.
Men get the upperhand in marriage.
I think I'll stay single.

Well with that attitude your sure to never get married!
Reality check! It's 2006, we make our own money, which most of the time is more than you make! We don't need you, so if we are with you it's because we want to be!

Marrage is a partnership between two people. Financially show may be living of him, but he may be getting pampered and taken care of in return.

I don't think that is true. I don't want to live off of him, I want to live WITH him. Plus, I make more than him anyway!
