ok so i playd halo, to be honest i liked it, but i think it was overrated and got too much hype, i havnt playd halo2, should i check it out (will i miss out on a lot if i just wait for halo 3).
then again i should just buy it since halo 3 wont be out for a while

go buy it at gasmestop or somethin used for like 15 bucks. its pretty fun to play online too. the story is confusing when you play the campaign part though.

It is a decent game if you enjoy shooters. The multiplayer is a lot of fun. Increased weapon options such as dual wielding. You may find the campaign a little short and dissappointing though. I am told that online play and competition is exeptional as well.

it is definately not overrated. it's only really fun when you play on Xbox Live. i would get halo 2 now, since halo 3 is coming out November 22nd, 2007.

Halo 2 compaign comes little close to Halo CE. However, for multiplayer you should try it out.

Get 2 or 3 other friends and play multiplayer nad kill each other... Thats much funner then playing by yourself. They have new vehicles and everything!

halo 2 is awesome dual wielding SMGs and playing as elites and dual wielding needlers are the best thing ever. ENERGY SWORDS

Pretty good but gets boring quick unless ya have online play or if no internet it gets boring unless you have friends to play multiplayer

Its halo with different levels and duel weilding. And the story isn't anything special. Its just "Oh no Earth is attacked......and.....thats it."
I wouldn't I didn't like it much.

it is a good game, as good as the first, a little bit repetative after a while but fun every now and then, a good game to buy used
