absolutely! we know that the average person is just not very educated, particularly in politics, so they do not know any better but to get their news from TV. Fox news, run by wealthy right-wing rupert murdoch, has done enough marketing to figure out how to be hugely popular, and now has become a mass propaganda machine for the ruling party -- damm! this sounds like the old USSR doesn't it? if you want some details of this see the references below. they are disturbing but i believe it is important for people to understand the MSN and exactly how much news is skewed in this country. It's not that Americans are stupid, they are just victims of a faulty system of news which feeds them misinformation; think of it as a bad side-effect of capitalism.

Are you trying to tell us that you are, lol. I mean c'mon, have you taken a poll of all the states to find out if most of a America is politically ignorant, or you just like assuming that most of us Americans are that way. And, I personally don't like Fox News, I'd rather watch CNN it's more informative.

I watch both CNN and Fox but find that Fox usually covers the issues more accurately. I like hearing both sides of the debate and I think you get that more on Fox.

Overall, more people watch the lefty stations, or don't you understand the concept of viewership? Of all the news, they get more viewers, but there are many sources of news - ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc. They have more viewers than these leftist propaganda outlets do, but they do not have the majority. Most of the ignorant people don't watch Fox.

We have the freedom to vote as we wish. That does not make us ignorant, it means that we have the freedom to vote as we think best, not as you think.
