To them if you are in your 20s, it's time to start dating. I never have agreed with that. I believe when I should do it when I am ready, which I probably won't ever be. I like keeping to myself.

well then thats fine! make yourself happy and if being single makes you happy then dont change. not everyone was created to be married or to be in a relationship. maybe one day you will find someone and you will just know it by meeting them. if someone wants you to do something and you say no and they keep doing it then they are not your true friends. if you enjoy the single life then make yourself happy and stay SINGLE! you dont want to date someone and be misareable and thinking of ways to avoid this person or lie to them and that will enventually turn out ugly. if you date a co-worker and it goes sour then you will have to see that person everytime you work. the atmosphere would be a hostile place to work and things would be ugly until one or the other quit. there is nothing wrong with being a loner but do remember to have some friends. TRUE friends i should say. take care

Those people are projecting their agendas...however, dating is all about the selection process. It gives you an opportunity to screw up a couple times, and learn valuable lessons, so that when you meet 'the one' you are ready -- and you don't drive h/er away with asocial behavior. Chronic bachelors need a little socialization, dear... :) ...especially by their 40's....Don't wait too long...Love to you.

Because MANY people in the world think you need to be half of a couple to be complete...I went through that for a LONG time before people really accepted the fact that I WAS happy on my own...Don't let them pressure you sweetie, as long as you're HAPPY, that's all that counts....

They should mind their own business and if you are happy by yourself then so be it. Don't let anyone pressure into dating because you should enjoy all the freedom of being single while you can.

Don't worry about what other people say you should do with your life. It's your life so do what you want. And It's always better to hold off on getting into relationships untill your a little older. Save time for yourself.

Its just because of human psychology. People think that if a gal is saying no she tends to say after wards. And people think that gals always say no at first and after wards they are yes.
