"Geek Love," by Katherine Dunn -- I'm reading it now. I'm not sure that I actually LIKE the book, but it is INCREDIBLY intruiging and probably one the most original books I've ever read. I haven't been able to put it down!

The Silmarillion. And there would be a narrator who would basically read the book. It would be more like a documentary than a regular film. And nothing would be left out, added or changed. It'd be just pure, straight Tolkien.
And the Elves wouldn't look like girls, either. Nor would they be portrayed as weak, whining little babies, like they were in the Lord of the Rings movie.
And of course, this movie would end up being 4 DVDs long or something insane like that. There's no way The entire Silmarillion would fit in a 3 hour film. There's enough material in just the tale of Beren and Luthien to do an ordinary length film. And Turin Turambar alone would make a 3 hour film.

The Eye of the World, the first book in the Wheel of Time series of novels. Hopefully it would do well and they could continue with the rest of the series.

None of them. Every time that people make a book into a movie, they screw it all up. I have seen few, if any, movies from books that were anywhere close to the book realistically. I would never want to do that to another poor author's masterpiece.

jemina J by Jane Green. It's ggod feel book for girls. Pick it up ladies. You'll love it.
