What a great question, life is just going down down down, all the evil hate and crazies. I know that times were so different in like the 40's 50's and I think the reason why was the family. They say most of the US claims to be christian and a big percent go to church, but where ARE THEY??The only way change can be made is in big groups, people uniting and being involved and they cant because they don't vote and when they do they say well that's OK to accept as long as it doesn't effect me......but it all effects us
and it not all about just voting its about setting a standard and following it, being committed to it.

Your world is what you make of it. Most of the time if you are loving and kind, you will get loving and kind. The difference is on what you decide to focus. There are as many good things about the world as there are bad, if not more. I'm not saying bury your head in the sand and act like there is no evil in the world, but face what is worth facing and never lose the hope that comes from the good things in life. Oh and as for the guy above accusing the Republicans of being divisive and requesting in the same sentence to get "rid" of them? I dont think we want to live under his type of philosophy.

We cannot change the world, nor any other. We can only change ourselves. We're responsible for our own thoughts and actions, because we reap what we sow. This is the universal law of cause-and-effectiveness. In other words, karma.
Being "hateful" and "scary" breeds from a strong sense of inflated *ego* and *insecurity*.
Transform the attitude of referring everything from the SELF as the point of reference, to consider the feelings and welfare of the OTHER as the center. This will help us to understand others.
Understanding breeds *trust*
Trust breeds *love*
But, before taking time to understand others, it is important to establish an attitude of *equality* in relating to the other. Equality is the basis for respect the other person. The other has in him the same divinity as it is in ourselves. We are all from the same source of creation. We're all one.

While most would think that changing the world is mission impossiable, I have a simple answer. Start with changing yourself. Change starts with you and until you change and embodie all the things you've mentioned then there can be no change in the rest of the world. You change, it affects your circle and then there circle and so on and so on.
Change starts with the one requesting the change be made. Be the example of such. Not the one that just talking about it.

With freedom of thought, expression, speech, and religion there will never be a loving kind world. People are too different and when allowed to express those differences it will never work becasue people can not learn to get along with everyone regardless of how the other person thinks or acts

You change the world by changing yourself. Be more loving. Be more kind. Be less hateful. Learn not to be afraid.
