I've used the OTC stuff, and don't want to have to go to a dermatologist...

I have used the OTC shampoo, conditioner, etc. I also have nearly shaved my head (I cut my hair with an electric razor with no guard). It's always embarrassing when I put on a dark shirt and it looks like it's been snowing :-(

neutrogena t-gel is good, but you can give yourself a scalp treatment, you use sea breeze, witchhazel, or even listerine and part your hair in small sections and rub some of it on each part. time consuming, but well worth it.

I'm guessing you have tried "head and shoulders". It is not good enough to just use the shampoo. Try the conditioner as well.

I hope this helps.

Use a product called Elvive by L'oreal Paris. It works to calm itchiness and prevents the re-appearance of dandruff. You have to leave it in your hair for it to work. and also use head and shoulders.

I think head and shoulders is good. Use it regularly, at least every other day.
