Wouldn't it be nice if words in English really meant what they sound like they should? Then a ground hog would be on the ground, a driveway would be a path for driving, an extraordinary event would be "extra ordinary," etc. But we can take hold that SOMETIMES words really do mean what they should. After all, pro and con are opposites as are PROgress and CONgress. :-)
