Yeah War of the Worlds was pretty good, but Dakota Fanning really didn't impress me and Tom Cruise was only OK. The best acting came from Tim Robbins and Justin Chatwin.

I must admit, I thought the movie was going to a lot better than it was. The storyline was ok, but I guess I couldn't get into the point of machines coming up from the earth to take over the world. The movie kind of bored me to be honest.

The new one with Tom Cruise was O.K. The 50's version with Gene Barry was better. It's a classic

Would have been better if the daughter had of stopped screaming for a short time during the movie. Everytime we turned around she started again. By the end my friend just wanted her to die.

I loved this movie I thought that it was Tom Cruise's finest job since his early days...(before the mid-life crisis and impregnation of Katie Holmes)...(poor child)

As far as intense goes, yes I liked it. I was literally on the edge of my seat during the movies. However, the end was lacking.

yes - both of them suprisingly. the first one was ahead of it's time - and scary ! i didn't think we would like the remake because of Tom Cruise but they ended up staying pretty true to the original movie line (Which I like because generally if they change it - they mess it up) - and just as scary ! I say two thumbs up !

Not the one with Tom Cruise. It had such a stupid story line. We were very disappointed with it.
